Role: E-Procurement Administrator

Reports to: Director, Revenue Operations

FLSA: Exempt

Location: Raleigh, NC or Remote

Why is this role important at Genesee Scientific?

The role is key to optimizing our procurement processes to support customer needs and drive revenue through B2B e-procurement. You'll manage and troubleshoot e-procurement connections, oversee onboarding and integration for customer institutions, and coordinate across systems like Salesforce and BigCommerce. By identifying process improvements and maintaining accurate pricing files, you will help enhance operational efficiency and support our mission to serve the life sciences community.

What will you do:
Serves as the day-to-day point of eProcurement contact for end users and institutions and builds maintains relationships at the procurement and accounting levels Responsible for delivering exceptional customer satisfaction, issue resolution and relationship management through emails and phone calls Initiate and drive eProcurement integrations with institutions involving introductory phone calls, electronic catalog implementation, testing and tracking via process tools to meet all requirements for new revenue connections Maintain and update institutional pricing with our contracted customer base Conduct analysis, drive recommendations for customer success. Manage and execute action items resulting from business reviews, customer requests, customer visits and business-driven initiatives Create and execute strategies to maximize eProcurement revenue maintenance, drive incremental revenue and growth Optimize and participate with marketing department efforts to expand campaigns and increase effectiveness Own, document, and maintain up-to-date status of all procurement connections, ensuring accurate and consistent data

What you will bring:
Bachelor's degree in business related field, or equivalent experience 3+ years Procurement experience driving B2B e-procurement, preferably in the Academic, Biotech or Life Sciences Industry Knowledge of principles of business and accounting practices Ability to network and influence across all levels of management and across organizations Strong critical thinking skills Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to communicate clearly and succinctly with team members and leadership Excellent self-management and organizational skills; able to manage workload, set personal priorities and adjust as needed Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills; able to develop effective teamwork between team members with diverse interpersonal styles Excellent communication, negotiation, listening, persuasion, written, verbal, analytical, and critical thinking skills are essential Strong project management skills with the ability to define project scopes, manage timelines, allocate resources, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the integration process Experience with E-Procurement Management Software (Jagger, Coupa, SAP, etc.) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel and Teams Results orientated, strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization

Starting base salary - $80,000.00, with potential increase based on experience and qualifications
