Daily Rate: GBP90-GBP110 per day
About the Role
A welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from 13th October. This position involves supporting a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a mainstream classroom, while also providing access to the school's dedicated ASD Provision when required.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will play a vital role in helping the student access learning, build confidence, and develop independence within a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one support for a pupil with ASD in the classroom.

Adapt activities and resources to meet the child's individual needs.
*
Support transitions between the mainstream class and ASD Provision.
*
Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and social development.
*
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and specialist staff.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or working with children with ASD.

A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
*
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
*
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
