They are proactively searching for a talented, experienced EIA Technical Director, willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside a growing team of expert scientists and engineers, based in the proud Welsh Capital City of Cardiff.

Responsibilities for the role of EIA Technical Director include:
* Manage a range of water-related projects, from initial inception through to successful delivery
* Produce, review, and amend key hydrological, water resource, and peat management Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) chapters for renewable energy, infrastructure, and transportation projects
* Liaise with and manage stakeholders, both internal and external to the company, to produce EIA
* Oversee the preparation and submission of planning applications for a number of projects
* Actively contribute to business development activities
Required skills and experience for the role of EIA Technical Director include:
* A good Initial Degree (with an Upper Second Class Honours or higher) in a numerate or environmental discipline
* Extensive experience in producing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for a number of different water environments (e.g. rivers, wetlands, etc.)
* Demonstrable experience of coordinating Environmental Assessments
* Excellent working knowledge of EIA regulations
* Highly proficient understanding of the UK Planning System
* High-level understanding of flood management and drainage strategies/systems
* Confident and competent in the use of GIS software packages
* Experience of leading/managing projects and/or a team of staff
* Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
* Outstanding numeracy skills
* Possess a full, valid UK driving licence and your own vehicle
* Willing to travel across the UK to undertake a variety of projects
* Possess professional membership of a relevant professional body (or actively working toward this)
Desirable skills and experience for the role of EIA Technical Director include:
* Hold a Master's (or higher) Degree in a relevant environmental or numerate discipline
* Excellent time management skills
