The Industrial & Systems Engineering team delivers systems and analytics for our manufacturing team. This team works heavily with cross-functional partners such as research & development, quality, maintenance, planning, finance and manufacturing to provide internal consulting support.
You will join a team of software developers and industrial engineers that design and implement a process-led manufacturing technology solution. This group partners with similar teams located at our manufacturing operations in India and China.

As the face of the Industrial Engineering team in one of our plants, you will be accountable for organizational goals advancing Lean maturity across manufacturing and engineering teams, including:

-Identify opportunities for preventing waste and inefficiency during production

-Evaluate new and existing processes, equipment, and materials as an input for scheduling methods, performance metrics, and financial standards
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"-
-Manage and conduct employee training for productivity improvement projects, and mentor fellow engineers and technicians
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"-
-Create and maintain the required documentation for manufacturing processes, including flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis, and line balancing
Required qualifications:
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"-
-Minimum 1 year’ experience with 3 years preferred in a manufacturing setting, preferably CPG or Food industries
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"-
-Shop floor experience to provide data-driven deliverables to internal customers
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"-
-Strong process engineering skills, including Lean, Kaizen, DOE, Six Sigma, 5S, TPM, or related experience
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"-
-Ability to collaborate with program managers, manufacturing, marketing, and functional leads
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"-
-BS degree in Industrial Engineering, operations research, management science or a related field desired

-The ideal candidate can demonstrate manufacturing knowledge and business impact

-Experience in high mix – low volume production processes

-Knowledge of ERP, MES, OSI PI, Industry 4.0, and simulation

-Experience in big data, Machine Learning, Tableau, Alteryx, Microsoft BI, and SQL would be helpful

-Experience managing budgets, building timelines, and providing cost estimates is desirable
