SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Kennington (ASD Provision)
A fantastic Primary School in Kennington, SW London, is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist ASD Provision. This role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant who wants to make a real difference supporting children with Autism and additional needs.
The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos and offers excellent training opportunities for Teaching Assistants keen to develop further in SEN. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work within a structured provision supporting pupils with Autism, some with additional learning and behavioural needs.
Your responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
Providing 1:1 and group support to children with ASD

Creating a safe and engaging learning environment
*
Supporting with sensory activities and interventions
*
Working with outside agencies (Speech and Language, Behaviour teams)
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is:
Experienced in SEN/Autism support (school-based or alternative setting)

Proactive, caring, and committed
*
A team player who can also work independently
This long-term Teaching Assistant role starts immediately, with opportunities for professional growth and the potential to go permanent.
Location: Kennington, SW London
Start: Immediate / September 2025
Daily rate: GBP95-GBP105 (depending on experience)
