What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Sales Performance Management - Marketing and Communications

Location:
Hybrid - New York, Hudson Yards

Expected start date:
October / November 2025

Duration: 12 months

Working hours:
Full-time (40 hrs./week)

 

We are looking for a Marketing and Communications intern to join our Sales Performance Management team. This role is ideal for recent college graduates looking to gain practical experience in customer marketing, content development and event marketing. The intern will support

-Creation of quarterly newsletters, both internal and external
-Field Marketing initiatives: identifying third-party events where SPM should have a presence and develop plans event based marketing programs– virtual and in-person 
-Sales enablement by creating digital marketing assets like presentations, whitepapers, videos to increase knowledge and awareness of SAP’s Sales Performance Management solutions in sales, presales, and partner communities
-Development of compelling marketing assets like customer facing and public facing messaging decks, videos, blog posts
-Support market and competitive analysis activities; support analyst inquiries

The goal of this role is to support marketing activities both internal and external and to create better visibility and understanding of Sales Performance Management’s solutions.

Educational requirements:

-Bachelor's degree, education background in Economics, Finance, Communications, Business, Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Liberal Arts
-Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program
-Computer skills / Programming languages: MS Office esp. MS Power Point
 

Position requirements

-Be a team player with an eye for details, expert in organizing, and passionate about using communication tools and platforms.
-Pro-active character and reliable in delivering results
-Good self-organization skills since you will be treated as fully integrated team member with own responsibilities
-Good communication skills to interact with diverse project teams and stakeholders
 

Desired skills / experience to be successful in this role

-Ability to work with a global team, take initiative and have a keen eye
-Soft skills: team player, willingness to learn new topics, ability to manage multiple priorities
-Language skills: fluent in English written and verbal
 

Qualifications for the role (please indicate if qualification is desired or necessary) 

-Previous internship experience is preferred
-Experience in event planning, writing and supporting marketing programs is also preferred
-Experience with Adobe experience manager is desirable

Compensation Range Transparency
: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
