Head of Data Enablement
Worcester
£95,004 - £100,004 per year plus Company car or car allowance
35 hours per week – Monday to Friday
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Data Enablement to join our team based in Worcester. This role sits in Data Management Team as part of Technology which is responsible for delivering Technology capability within Sanctuary Group to ensure employees have access to the systems they need to perform their duties. The direct team for this role consists of 3 Data Solutions Managers and 1 Data Analyst reporting into the Head of Data Architecture.

Data Solutions Manager
will include:

-Lead the enablement of self-service analytics across Sanctuary, supporting business areas on their data maturity journey
-Govern the use of analytical tools, frameworks, and practices that empower teams to unlock value from data and build information products that solve real business problems. Work with Data Engineers, Data Modellers, Data Analysts and business stakeholders to define and prioritise features and enhancements
-Champion data literacy, foster a culture of evidence-based decision-making and ensure alignment with Sanctuary's data strategy
Skills and experiences:

-Degree in management qualification or relevant professional qualification
-Substantial experience of analysing, diagnosing and resolving data issues
-Experience leading governance for self-service analytics
-Experience leading and creating Data Literacy training
-Proven experience working with self service analytics platforms (e.g. Power BI, SAC) and programming languages (e.g. SQL,Python, R)
-Experience or good understanding of implementing projects in Agile / Scrum / DevOps methodologies
-Familiarity with Regulatory Frameworks (E.g. GDPR, DPA) and data ethics
-Recent experience working with SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere

-Role salary is £76,210 with an additional policy allowance of £18,793 per annum (rising to £80,221 with an additional policy allowance of £19,782 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
