Job Summary

Provides administrative and clerical support functions for Commuter Rail. Serves as initial point-of-contact to the department. Supports and assists with coordinating various programs and special projects.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION/TRAINING
High school diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree in Business or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Two years in an office setting providing administrative or clerical support to include experience in office coordination between departments and/or divisions. Must have a valid Utah Driver's License, with no more than 4 moving violations in the past 3 years. Cannot have more than 1 violation of driving under the influence of alcohol, any drug, or the combined influence of any alcohol or any drug within the last 10 years.
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of Vehicle Maintenance Software Preferred
SKILLS
Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems and operations at the intermediate level in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Pass basic Grammar test. Type 40 net words per minute. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Perform basic data analysis, trending and tracking data.
ABILITY TO:
Communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders, UTA managers, employees and vendors. Work independently and as a team member. Work under limited supervision. Manage time efficiently. Prioritize job assignments. Handle urgent and emergency requests as needed.
