A SENCO is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.
This will be a full time permanent SENCO position.
If appointed as a SENCO, you will support the Assistant Principal in Learning Support.
Duties and responsibilities for this SENCO post will include but not be limited to:
* Ensuring Academy practice is compliant with the SEND Code of Practice (2014) and other relevant statutory requirements
* Working with the Academy Leadership team when it comes to the implementation of the Academy SEND Policy
* Tracking the progress of students with SEND, using a wide range of Academy data relating to progress, attainment, referrals, exclusions, detentions and attendance to identify barriers to learning
* Deploying staff and resources according to the needs of SEND students
* Writing a termly report to the Governing body on progress and developments
The salary for this SENCO role will be between GBP56915 and GBP64361, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

An 'Outstanding' Secondary School & Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton.
It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.
90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.
The site has its own dedicated SEN Support Centre and a variety of sports facilities.
Ofsted have noted there is positive culture of learning and a strong sense of community.
Requirements
Applications are welcome if you're a recently qualified SENCO or experienced SENCO.
You're also welcome if you're a British trained SENCO or overseas trained SENCO.
All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a SENCO:
* Right to work in the UK
* Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
* Experience as a qualified Teacher or SENCO in UK schools
* UK QTS and evidence of CPD relevant to the SENCO role or willingness to undertake this training
