The Quality Inspector is responible for inspecting product for Campbell Chain. Work schedule is 1st shift, working 4 days a week and 10 hours a day from 7 AM to 5 PM daily Monday through Thursday.

The Build (Responsibilities)
-Operate automatic inspection machine (large and small) and perform sorting inspections of in-process and returned products found to be defective.
-Perform attribute inspections on products requiring 100% inspection.
-Trim fins and remove defects.
-Accept or reject products based on visual inspection.
-Perform sorting by ultimate strength or by specific defect, which may include periodic magnetic particle inspection.
-Complete various scrap and nonconforming material forms and report and maintain inspection records and reports as required.
-Perform audits (in process, finished goods) and equipment calibrations.
-Conduct plating chemical concentration checks.
-Operate cutters, torches, and other machines utilized in the operation as needed.
-Adhere to company policies and procedures to produce a quality product/service, including reporting non-conforming materials.
-Report unusual conditions or questionable items to supervisor.
-Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
-Keep work area clean and orderly.
-Maintain records as required.
-Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
The Toolbox (Qualifications)
-High school diploma or GED required.
-Previous quality control experience required.
-Previous forklift experience required.
-Valid forklift license.
-Proficient in computer technology including Microsoft Office applications.
-Able to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week and Fridays) as required.
